Witness the present situation wit Obama - who has kept those policies he ran against intact, yet still enjoys high favorability ratings. And can we assume your anger is equally directed at the preceding administration and the leading democrats who employed alarmist rhetoric about the "imminent" threat of Saddam? And just a note - the turkey wasn' t plastic.

• I for one expect the republicans to represent the hawkish, if foolhearty aspects of our foreign policy. What really offends me is that there is no institutional opposition to a hawkish foreign policy. This REALLY should worry all of you. The hawks have no opposition. Ironically, Libertarians, Progressives and every other 3rd party OPPOSE our bellicosity. I resent the DEMOCRATS for failing to challenge the Pre-war intelligence, for failing to fight the patriot act, FISA. Where are you so-called conservatives on these points? Most of you "conservatives" don't know the meaning of the word. Michael Medved, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity are none of them conservatives. They are Republican party operatives, supporting a more naked fascism than the Democrats are offering. Don't you buy for a minute the Republicans votes against the bailouts for the big banks. Every vote was tallied and Congress knew they had the votes, the dissenters double checked that the bill they were facetiously opposing would get passed. The vast majority of our politicos are whores. They are patronizing us, as are the media. The way you folk defend your favorite whore is as fucking ignorant as fans cheering professional wrestling. Fucking morons, all of you, Lakewooder, Toots, Grumpy, OS. And you Rawlins, are one twisted dude. • I haven't watched a sitcom in many many years. Know why? Because the plots were all the same, every single time. And that one plot? Sucked the first time, and every time thereafter.

• Grumpy, I've had family and friends who went to Iraq and a few who are still there. I was talking to one of them earlier today on IM. I don't support everything Bush did, especially many aspects of this war. In fact, I doubt anybody does, including the man himself. But there are a lot of us who can't stand the kind of overwraught hatred proffessed towards the man that people like you continue to espouse at his mere mention.

To paraphrase a quote from Vietnam War (a War W and Cheney supported, but chicken hawked): "Torturing for Freedom is like raping for virginity." How many of you W defenders have family in Iraq? WWJ Water Water board?

• It was rumored that the blonde woman in the photo was �Miss NRA� Tancy Tucker (yes, you�re right�the former Miss Guam 2007 who became an infamous Dick Cheney �groupie� according to Down Beat magazine.) Reportedly Ms. Tucket was a �stand-in� for the cinematographer shooting (no pun intended) �pre-lim footage� for an Ann Coulter quasi docu-drama billed in leaked emails as a �next generation reality show� where Miss Coulter will appear as three different characters; Madge the �cigarette girl� at �a sports facility� (here being lit allegedly in a guest-stint with the former President.) Two, a Jewish �shampoo girl� at a hair salon named Lolita Lox of Love. And lastly, as Miss Coulter herself being analyzed by a �trio of (male) therapists� in weekly session segments said to be �spicy vintage Coulter� called �Breast Feds�.

• Now, Grumpy Demo, is that a very nice thing to say about a man who quit drinking for his family? A populist hero who clears brush? An Everyman who garbles his sentences, just like you or me? Well, not like you or me, maybe, but like some people -- and those "some people" are mad as hell at people like you who eat fancy mustard. Yes, that's right, mad -- fitin' mad. • Grumpy, Presidents rarely attend funerals of fallen troops (I think twice is it). Reason being, believe it or not, respect - avoiding the possibility of a Sheehan-style circus. However, Bush is known for visiting with parents of the fallen and wounded, an visiting often with the wounded themselves. Like it or not, Bush is still well-liked by combat troops. If this makes me worse than him, think of it as defending the truth.

• Can't speak for him attending funerals, but Bush did meet with the families of hundreds of dead soldiers on numerous occassions.

• Hey "Anonymous Democrat" you're not a Democrat, just another GOP fool who thinks the public is as stupid are you are. Unlike the typical Ditto head North Dallas Winger, the public is bright enough to spot a sock puppet when they see one. So, W finds enough time to go to a ball game with a blond, but STILL can't be bothered to attend one single funeral for the troops he sent to die on lies, distortions, and now we know toured confessions. Last I checked it's OK to hate someone who implements torture as a national policy, but thats silly old me, a moral Christian Patriot. Maybe the reason W is so despised is because he deserves to despised. I guess if you're a Bush you get a free pass on one war and torturing hundreds of innocent people and killing a half million innocent Iraqis.
