• The first time I heard that song was the Gringos version as well. Then a friend, Chrissie made me a copy of Doug Sahm's original version and I was shocked. It was a beautiful song a melody! I love the Gringos version as well but the Sahm version was a completely different animal.

• Really really cool ! barry's voice sounds incredible as does the echo on it ... love this video , makes me homesick for dear old Dallas...

• Great version of one of the best songs ever! I probably wouldn't know the song quite so well if not for the Gringo's version but let's give credit where credit is do....it was written and originally recorded by Doug Sahm.
