Seriously, What the What?

• Robert, thanks for the feedback! We see your point. Context aside, it was a bit confusing. If you check back to http://letdallascompete.com, you'll see our focus is a bit more refined. As a grass-roots movement, we don't have the backing of a California Agency, so feedback is very helpful.

• How about this tactic... Vote YES if you think Leppert is a creep. Vote NO if you hate Dallas.

• I'd go with crooked, Jan. What a fun tactic for the city great shepherds to employ.. tell people no matter what they believe that they should vote no. Well, for Proposition 1, a YES vote is a vote to amend our city charter and to stop our City government from putting us taxpayers on the hook for this half-billion-dollar hotel. A vote NO is a vote to let the city continue on this crash-course in hotel development on our behalf.

• So, we get a call tonight from Leppert's crowd asking if we want a yard sign. My husband says he's "against the city owning a hotel, do I vote yes or no?" She says "Oh, you want to vote NO, I'll get a sign out to you tonight" So who's confused or who's crooked?

• Can't we have a vote that isn't logically backwards? Voting yes to kill the hotel and voting no to keep it. Egads! That might be the only reason the trinity river project still lives - I bet at least 10% of the voters screwed up their vote.

• That actor has 100 times more cred than Leppert.

• What do Lily Tomlin, Bea Arthur and Ruth Buzzi think of the hotel? And which side does Jenny endorse?

• Design efdinitely has an OBAMA design feel to it.

• Can they do that?

• I could be wrong, but it looks like they just lifted that guy's picture from the anti-hotel ads and used it on the banner. He's wearing the same tan jacket, orange shirt combo in the banner pic as in one of the ads.

• I vote "That Guy" for the next Mayor of Dallas. At least he makes an honest day's living talking out of both sides of his mouth.
