• Actually I dated a girl who was a size 8 once. Then she ate a burro and was a size 12. Then she barfed up the burro. Presto, size 8 again. If Frontburner hadn't done away with their comments, I could have posted this over there. Dang.

• @ George T: there is no way she is a size 6. A size 6 = no curves. Sorry. She's curvy. @ Daniel: I was being facetious. Have you seen the women that men drool over in Playboy? Those women aren't curvy. It seems that we- at least we Americans- do have a standard of beauty, and it's what Hollywood says. Ever watch ET or take a gander at People magazine? Do you see what little girls in high strive to look like? It's not what this beautiful woman looks like. IJS...

• cp, only a woman would say what you said. Most men like curves. Most men, I daresay, have considerable catholicity of taste whene it comes to woman. There is no real "standard of beauty." There is a "standard of ugliness," however -- to wit, a baggy old washer-woman with warts in her eye-sockets.

• Size 12? Hardly, more like 6. The thing to me is how short she was. Anyway, she was a fine looking woman.

• Aint nothin wrong with a little meat on the bones, too bad todays society goes way too far in either direction when it comes to size. Women are either classified as sticks with boobs or blobs with folds, its a shame..

• What is she, a Size 12? Get a load of those ankles and thighs! Wow! They really did have different standards back then for what was considered beauty. To think, I could have actually been in a beauty pageant in 1925 while today I'd get laughed off the beach. We've come a long way, ladies, be proud.
