PeterK, who diligently scours eBay for old Dallas photos so I don't have to, sends this gem that's
up for grabs till May 2: a photo of 1925 Miss Dallas Ruth Jernigan. And,
so happens, that was the year Texas had four reps in the Miss America Pageant: Miss Fort Worth (Mary Louise Kilman), Miss Galveston (Lucille King), Miss Houston (Edna Francis) and Miss Dallas. At last, my book cover! Now, all I need is a book.
