| Jason Segal and Paul Rudd sniff out a bromance in I Love You, Man. |
Segal and Rudd, of course, have worked together twice before: in Judd Apatow's Knocked Up and Forgetting Sarah Marshall, both of which also bowed at SXSW in recent years. And Rashida Jones, who plays Rudd's wife in I Love You, Man, appeared on the infamous unaired episode of the influential-in-retrospect Freaks and Geeks, "Kim Kelly is My Friend." So everybody knows everybody, and yet the new movie. which opened yesterday, feels wholly novel -- a Rushified reinvention of the romantic comedy starring two dudes. So here they are, hungover in a hotel room during a film festival. Isn't it bromantic?
