CBS's Big D Pilot Just Got a Little Bigger -- Say Hello to Dr. Spaceman!

• A newcomer, Ben Koldyke, has joined the cast. Trust me, He will make this show. Funny, funny, funny man.

• I just hope they dont say it's in Dallas and there are palm trees and mountains everywhere. I *hate* that.

• And it's Deanna Dunagan.

• Parnell's character(s) is of a douchey guy. Another is Ed Helms. I don't know him personally, but what do you call the weird romance singer character, or the cheese ball cubicle neighbor? Seems like that was a consistent theme for his roles on SNL. I agree douche is trite, sorry, another better word comes to mind.

• What pisses me off is Hollywood types insisting that Texas is a part of "The South". It's not. So, unless the "Southern Belle" mother is a transplant from Georgia, there should be nothing "Southern" about it.

• The question of Parnell being a douche is immaterial. This show sounds like the worst piece of crap since.... I don't know.... Cop Rock?

• No lie...Chris Parnell was my drama teacher at Germantown High School (Germantown, TN) - and Missi Pyle was also there the same time I was. He abandoned us to go to Hollywood for bigger and better things. I was so excited to then see him in Piggly Wiggly and Burger King commercials. Guess things kinda worked out for him.

• I'm declaring calling people "douche" a 2008 thing. Please stop it.

• WTF is scott's problem? I guess you know him personally since you seem so strong in your assertion that he's a "douche." Anywho, the quote to accompany Dr. Leo Spaceman's picture: "What? This? No, no. I was at a costume party earlier this evening, and the hostess's dog attacked me so... I had to stab it." Favorite: "Boy, it's crazy to think we used to settle questions of paternity by dunking a woman in water until she admitted she made it all up."

• Wait, wha? He's from Memphis.

• Chris Parnell is such a douche I thought this was just awful as I began to read. Then I found out he was from Dallas. This is entirely plausible. I was born and raised here and love it here, though we have our fair share of Chris Parnell's about.
