Yes, But Do They Get Briefing?

• Well, my Wall Street Journal, when it is delivered, it usually in my neighbor's yard. Just another reason the outdated newspaper business is failing.

• Rhinosaur: Man, you are lucky that they get Briefing to your lawn, mine is usually in the gutter!

• On hearing that W subscribes to the DMN, 7,235 angry Blue People cancelled their subscriptions

• I guarantee they have a stack 12-deep of Briefings on their front lawn.

• Briefing keeps sending me cards in the mail asking me to subscribe. What a disaster.

• Droopydave, i got the DMN for over a year even though i've never had a subscription. I checked with my neighbors to make sure i wasn't accidentally receiving their paper and called the DMN and told them i was receiving a paper that i shouldn't be receiving, and i still got it for over a year. I liked it at first, it was a free paper after all, but after a few months it started to seem a little creepy and i couldn't help but wonder if the delivery person was stalking me for some nefarious reason.

• Actually the DMN, in my experience, is hard to get. I had so many problems with double-billing, no paper, etc. that I gave up on them years ago. They just can't deliver a paper right. After years, I decided they just can't do it.

• They are looking for a right handed paper boy, no lefties.

• Tom, the gate ain't up yet -- they haven't even submitted plans to the city for approval yet.

• It's hard to throw the paper from the other side of the gate and hit the front lawn.

• There's got to be a circulation advertising slogan in there somewhere: "We'll deliver to your before out-of-work politicians."

• It was actually Toots disguised as a newspaper boy.
