Over the weekend, I drove by the under-construction Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre in the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts, and the 5-year-old in the backseat was fascinated by the hundreds of tubes running along the exterior. Also fascinated by the aluminum siding: The folks behind the DCPA, who, in their ongoing effort to document every second of the Arts District's construction, just posted this making-of. Fascinating.
It's been six months, and those DCPA people haven't shut up once.
Wanted to use the White Punks on Dope reference but was beaten to it - damn you Heywood!
Wilonsky -- you made my day with the Waybill reference but I can't get 'slipped my disco' or 'white punks on dope' off my mental soundtrack!
This must be like being Schutze and having Mayor Tom's false promises slam dancing in your skull.
