FFS, this is Texas - we're supposed to save that grease for cooking (e.g. sausage gravy), not throw it away. Think of it as a stimulus plan for Texas cardiologists...

Posted On: Tuesday, Feb. 17 2009 @ 1:12PMRoB, I don't remember your ever answering the question I directed your way regarding your moniker. What gives? Francis Bacon or is this some porcine-affinity?
I can't process your comments here until I know. What are you saying in your moniker? Are you a furtive grease advocate?
Posted On: Tuesday, Feb. 17 2009 @ 1:19PMI love it when I see my tax money at work! Maybe the NTGAC could have spent the money on Drano
Posted On: Tuesday, Feb. 17 2009 @ 1:19PMScott, no it has nothing to do with Francis Bacon, and it has nothing to do with Christianity. It's partly about my love of bacon, and partly about other things I'm not going to go into here.
Posted On: Tuesday, Feb. 17 2009 @ 1:30PMOf coarse you are not supposed to pour the grease down the drain. Your supposted to dig a small hole in your backyard or the empty lot next door and hen pour all your grease and motor oil down the hole. And if the hole fills up move on to a new location or simply set it on fire and let it burn away so you can continue using the same hole for grease disposal. Right?
Posted On: Tuesday, Feb. 17 2009 @ 4:12PMRoadside, yeah that's a good idea. If you don't have a shovel the next best is to find yourself a baby seal and use it's fur to soak up the oil or grease. (seagulls work ok too)
but don't forget http://img91.imageshack.us/img91/8304/1210442468137mx1.jpg
Posted On: Tuesday, Feb. 17 2009 @ 4:14PMYes! Pour your grease down the drain. Nothing closes up a drain faster. Chasdoo, Roadside, especially you guys.
Posted On: Tuesday, Feb. 17 2009 @ 4:54PMEveryone knows that leftover bacon grease makes fabulous old fashioned-style popcorn (in a pan, on the stove top), plus can double as a scintillating "personal lubricant." Nothing enhances your sex life...LIKE THE SMELL OF BACON! Easy glidin' too!
Posted On: Tuesday, Feb. 17 2009 @ 7:02PMYa think the lady who exasperatedly answered the question of where do you think grease goes, "I don't know", is any closer to an understanding? Now she's probably more confused than ever, what with all the fast-talking and fast-walking and fast-driving and the scenes switching from black-and-white to color and back and again.
I'm sure Chad really just left the apartment manager's office and went home and took a bath, satisfying his long-needed excuse to use those bath oil beads he'd been meaning to get to after a long, hard day at work....
Meanwhile, those nosey Alvarez's can't just mind their own business- I'm sure the expolsion noise they heard was from the neighbor's quieneniera- they were just mad they didn't get invited and were looking for any excuse to see how things were going. Nodding at the Utility workers and pretending to give a shit about grease- they had their eyes on those red, white and green baloons the whole entire time.... Watch for yourself!
Stay tuned for scenes from next week's new episode of "As Oak Cliff Turns"...

I prefer cat fur, baby cat fur has the best adsorption but they are smaller. And cats are a lot easier to find than baby seals here in Texas.
I'm sure the involved cities and organizations wouldn't mind you using this video once it is complete, but we would appreciate notification prior to posting. The version that was posted on youtube.com/melcro was for the NCTCOG to review and submit requests for corrections or alterations. Sorry for the misunderstanding, but thanks for the consideration.
