Toots, it was hard to tell -- since I only heard a small piece of it while rolling up, then he stopped so we could chat. He was good, though -- sounded like something outta the New Orleans Songbook.

Thank you, Robert, for profiling our street musicians. It saddens me that we have so few in comparison to other cities our size. Giving them their due, and definitely throwing them a spare buck or two goes along way to bringing more life to our streets. Something we're severely lacking.

Hmm... Time to dust off the sax and soak some fresh reeds... (as soon as I get rid of this goddamn cold...)
