• It is my sincere wish that the Dallas Observer will create a Bush support group blog for those of us who happen to love our country, our Republican leaders, and our wars. D Magazine devotes the entire blog to supporting the wealthy conservative movement. They are smart. They know that the slightest negative mention of President George W. Bush and his amazing wife Laura would result in 90 percent of their advertisers pulling out. Then how would we know where to get the Best garlic and rosemary pedicure. Since Religion of Bacon a/k/a ROBB is the most brillaint writer on this blog, I think he should be put in charge of this Bush support blog. Just a suggestion. But a gosh darn good one. Right?

What someone I never knew did to someone else I never knew can be horrible, and it can also have nothing whatsoever to do with me, Deep South notwithstanding. • I posted because RW&T's unfettered love of Bush made me nauseous. His Administration will surely go down as the worst in history. My reasons are many but #1 on the list is the failed Iraqi occupation. Anyone knew that our military would cut through Saddam's like a knife in hot butter, but then Bush thought the populace would throw flowers at our feet. All the money and lives that it cost us was not worth any perceived results. I think Saddam was more scared of Al Qaeda than us, and we were dealing with Saddam just fine (as witnessed by the lack of weapons of mass destruction found after the invasion). I'm afraid the Shiites are just bidding there time and will stir up a good ole' civil war about 6 months after we leave. In the end, Bush only got shoes thrown at him, not flowers.
