In the Words of Jason Garrett's Favorite Singer, If You Gotta Go, Go Now

• BEST WEBSITE EVER... Seriously made me laugh out loud. I'll be checking it all the time... Good work guys...

• The ONLY problem with the Cowboys is: The coaches do what the players say, and it should be the other way around.

• The problem isn't that Garrett's no longer good at play-calling, it's that he's being forced to call specific plays at specific times just to appease certain wide receivers. That's a problem with Phillips and/or Jones, not a problem with Garrett.

• Liles, I too was concerned about the team's willingness to follow the depth chart. I liked the prospect of Choice. When he didn't start I assumed he had some huge flaw in his game, can't pick up the blitz or something. But Choice proved himself quite capable. So then, why did we see a gassed Barber after Felix Jones got hurt? When Barber too was hurt we saw Choice get gassed after long runs. So did we see Coleman--or whomever we brought from the practice squad? No, they ran a fatigued Choice. The Cowboys don't trust their bench. They need to, like the Patriots team to play their system. This creates more depth, competition and a bigger team. We seem to focus on superstars, whom have already past their zenith and are riding on name id.

• In 1997, I had the great pleasure and honor of going onto the Texas Stadium field pre-game. REAL Cowboys like Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin, Deon Sanders, and Emmitt Smith were warming up on the field. None other than Jerry Jones came up to meet our group. I'll never forget the look on Jerry's face; he looked so happy, as if he himself was in awe of being on the field. I knew that Jerry was himself a huge Cowboy fan. Any chance Troy Aikman might come out of retirement?

• It was Garrett's idea last year to start Julius Jones, and then bring in Marion Barber later in the game after the opposition's defense was starting to fatigue. Jones sucked, of course, but Barber walked in on fresh legs, then destroyed defenses and the Cowboys closed 13 times. Why was Barber starting this year? Why not start Felix Jones or Tashard Choice, and then use Barber the same way we did last year? Felix Jones should be healthy by then, we know Choice is a quality back, and Barber won't be exposed to such a prolonged beating each week. Did Jerry impose Barber as a starter on Garrett just because of a money issue?

• The problems go from the top down. Getting rid of Jason will do nothing. Look at Jimmy Johnson and how he coached the team. Were the players scared of him? Hell yes, and they also played their asses off for him. Compare the number of penalties then verses now. I even remember Jimmy firing players mid season for jumping off sides to manny times. That's what we need.
