Jon Stewart Gets a Good Energy From T. Boone Pickens

• Harvey, I would like to believe too that �Swift Boat� will not go down in his own �life list� as one of his finest. As clumsy as it may have been, could it be said that he did what he felt was right at the time? Who am I to judge? It�s seems to me as if he�s now investing the last of his tremendous 80 year old energy and talent into something that he truly see�s as being the right thing once again. Whether in honor of all this country has given him, or as (some) may perceive he has taken; he�s giving back now. I watched him intently during his 1 hour and 11 minute testimony before the Senate Energy Security Committee and numerous other public appearances including Jon Stewart last night. It was electric. His folksy Texas/Oklahoma charm, oil industry experience, resources, and resourcefulness are being used for a noble and monumentally important cause; the future of the United States. I believe that. Blind faith - not at all: faith from examining every fact, evidence, and clue available to me. Including the bad and tempering that with the sour knowledge that many (all) of us sometimes hate first and ask questions later. God bless America�.and God bless T. Boone Pickens!!!

• I want to like Boone. But I still hurt from his Swift Boat b.s. Now he might have changed....... But I don't think so. However, in the light of current situations I will offer support for his positions on natural gas as the answer as the temporary answer for our fuel issues. This is like dancing with the Devil and trying hard not to get tangled in his tale, tail.

• Little Jon's standup routine used to have a heavy reliance on 'natural gas' and he probably thought he himself could be the next big energy company.
