Richie discovered this photo over on the Dallas Stars' Web site, and it irks him -- something to do with Derian Hatcher, who wore No. 2 way back when. Richie's also made the Mavericks jersey joke. Which just leaves me with this lousy headline. I'm totally fine with that. --Robert Wilonsky

I'm glad Tom Hicks feels so good about the Rangers' and Stars' attendance figures that he can afford to alienate fans. He just lost this ticket purchaser--I won't support any organization that supports Sarah Palin.

I'm totally voting for Obama, and I am not impressed with Palin's (ahem) intellect, but I am kind of tired of people griping about Palin's kids being at her debates, campaign stops, etc. People thought it was so cute when John and Elizabeth Edwards had their little kids along for the ride, but Palin's a bad mom for doing the same thing? If she left them at home in Alaska, she'd get flack for being an absentee mom. That little 5-year-old girl seems to be loving every minute of this campaign, if her smiles are anything to go by, and if that little baby boy is anything like Knottybaby was at that age, they don't really much care where they are as long as they're fed, burped, changed. They'll sleep anywhere, anytime. I sort of miss the days when Knottybaby was that portable and I didn't have to nag about going to the potty before we left the house, actually.
