Categories: Biz, News
Mark Graham

So says Forbes today, which is tremendous news as, once more on this free-fall Friday, the Dow Jones Industrials threatens to drop past the 8,000-point mark. Several factors went into the ranking -- job growth projections, inflation, median house price, median household income, cost of living and gas prices among them. Notes the magazine about the great state of our great state: "Those looking to hunker down might want to head to Texas, where they can get the best value for their dollar." Fine, but I am currently hunkered down with a bottle of Maker's Mark and a pack of Kools. --Robert Wilonsky
