Texas Railroad Commissioner Takes to Internets to Dispute Channel 8 Story

Last night, WFAA-Channel 8 ran a piece by Brett Shipp about some Cooke County residents in Era who don't want a natural gas waste injection well installed in their backyard, which the Railroad Commission of Texas approved over their protests that it would increase traffic and muck up their idyllic community. Which really hurt Railroad Commission chairman Michael Williams, who, moments ago, posted a video response in which he more or less blamed the Texas Legislature for failing to give the commission the "authority to approve or deny an application based on traffic concerns."
