Just a quick note to John Wiley Price and Judge Thomas Jones, because, gentlemen, I'd really like to loan you my copy of the greatest movie ever to star Maximilian Schell, Ernest Borgnine, Anthony Perkins, Robert Forster and Yvette Mimieux. It was awesome when I was 11; I think you'll still dig it, though. Because something tells me you might have missed it way back when -- well, that and science. Jump for the trailer to a 1979 classic, at the very least. 'Cause that is how I roll. Just stay away from Lindsay Lohan, for God's sakes. And the rest of the universe. --Robert Wilonsky

That...movie...was...awesome. I had to watch that 200 times from age five to age eight. I completely loved it...although it really freaked me out when Anthony Perkins got wasted by that big red robot. That's some scarring stuff.

Hey, I thought I was so cool getting to see this movie, since it was the first Disney movie to get a PG rating. I think Anthony Perkins said "damn" or something. The theme music was kinda creepy, too, and I still remember it after all these years.

JWP said "EXCUSE ME?!?" and demanded an apology when another county commissioner said that the central collections office for traffic tickets had become a "black hole." JWP was offended and said it was a "white hole" and demanded an apology. Even though the white guy explained it was a figure of speech which is a scientific term that refers to an imploding star that sucks all light (thereby becoming black). Unimpressed by this explanation Judge Thomas then asked the white commissioner to apologize for his racially insensitive remarks.
