As promised, the first of a few sneak previews from Lifetime's Fab Five: The Texas Cheerleader Scandal, which bows on the ladies-only network August 2 at 8 p.m. -- set your DVRs accordingly. Course, this is the fictionalized retelling of the McKinney North High School scandal involving the cheerleaders who were into "boozing, bikinis and bullying," the three keys to sisboombah success. (This is how the movie's fictionalized: The school's now Jackson High School, and principal Linda Theret is now called Lorene Tippit ... and played by Tatum O'Neal, score!) As someone who followed this situation fairly closely, my I add that the REALLY entertaining part of this story wasn't the dynamic between coach and captain, but coach and principal.

The coach isn't the hero of this story, she's only the one that had a sugar daddy that would allow her to leave work long enough to sell her story rights to Lifetime. She's as big of an attention whore as the rest of 'em.

As a mom of a cheerleader. All cheerleaders do NOT act like they do. If they were my daughters I would be very embarrassed. I dont encourage my daughter to act like that.
