In Canada, Not the Best of Nights for Dallas-Based Greyhound Lines

Categories: News

Dallas-based Greyhound Lines isn't having a very good morning, following news that last night, on a bus traveling from Edmonton to Winnipeg, one passenger attacked another in front of some 36 fellow travelers. And it was a particularly gruesome incident: Notes The Windsor Star this morning, the attacker "reportedly stabbed another man sleeping next to him, eventually decapitating him and waving the man's severed head." Notes Greyhound spokesman Eric Wesley in this follow-up: "the tragedy ... was an 'isolated incident' and inter-city bus travel is statistically the safest form of travel available." And I thought American Airlines' Tim Wagner was going to have a long day. --Robert Wilonsky
