Study Figures Dallas-Fort Worth Has Fifth-Worst Traffic in U.S.

Categories: News
In case you didn't know these were the DFW's traffic hot spots, INRIX sends a reminder.

INRIX is a formerly Microsoft-affiliated company that keeps track of traffic. And, far as it's concerned, the Dallas-Fort Worth is a congested mess -- fifth-worst in the country, matter of fact, behind only Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Washington, D.C. Its scorecard for the DFW is highly detailed too, listing the 25 worst bottlenecks -- the top four of which are in Tarrant County, actually, though Dallas counts 13 of them, including Woodall Rogers Freeway, period. And, a tip: Best time to travel in the DFW is between 9 and 10 a.m. on Fridays. Which just offers me one more excuse not to leave the house till then. --Robert Wilonsky
