Speaking of topless danceterias, how 'bout the bands that provide their soundtracks? Because over on DC9 Pete brings confirmation of the long-suspected news that Ozzfest will indeed be a one-day, single-city extravaganza with Frisco as the single city for that one day. The 'burb will blossom into a metal mecca on August 9 at Pizza Hut Park -- because, really, nothing says "all-day festival" like August 9 in North Texas. Pete's got the full line-up (including these familiar locals) and ticket sales dates, but folks are a wee bit upset over here because, like, Metallica's playing the fest for the first time, and folks'll have to road trip it to Texas if they wanna seek and destroy. Comments like, oh, "You let your fans down this year with this shit you pulled OZZFEST, FUCK YOU!!!!" are tending to be fairly common. --Robert Wilonsky
