KDFW-Channel 4

Melissa Cutler of KDFW-Channel 4 was in the office yesterday interviewing Schutze for a story that ran on the Fox affiliate last night. And, yes, it was about Lynn Flint Shaw's "Inner Circle" and the e-mails about which Jim wrote on Tuesday. The video, which has Mayor Tom Leppert and Willis Johnson's responses, can be found here, the top of the two videos located on the page.

Also, for those so inclined, The Dallas Morning News has just posted the 911 call that alerted authorities to a possible suicide inside the Shaws' house on Monday night. --Robert Wilonsky

Is it just me or does anyone else want to smack that shit eating grin off Leppert's face in the video as he feigns innocence?

chad says:

Lakewooder says:

I can't locate the Leppert & Johnson videos. Have they been removed from the channel 4 web site or am I looking in the wrong place?

Dr. D says:

"Ambulance and police?"

"Why not?"

Sounds like the guy was agreeing to an extra order of fries

Jason says:

Jim , you've definitely got an Obi-Wan look going for you. Go with it!

JimS says:

Leppert reminds me of that Hale Bopp Comet cult guy - Marshall Applewhite. Same grin & stare.

Justin says:

@Lakewooder,

From the "here" link in the above story the videos (you can see small thumbnail images of them) are in the sidebar just underneath the picture of Rufus Shaw. They have not been removed.

C’mon, Jim. Obi-Wan freggin’ Kenobi, Jedi master!

JimS says:

My parents were Episcopalian.

"My parents were Episcopalian."

JimS, I love you!! Such a good giggle...
