I already did. I just don't see anything where you build a significant argument. Fine, we didn't double Kobe until the fourth quarter and he went 7 for 11. I don't know about the not having a PG on the floor two minutes into the 19-0 run, I'll have to go back and watch; I think I was still in shock at that time about Dirk going down. Truth be told, the last three games the Mavs have been getting killed in turnovers and offensive rebounds. We have a lousy record on the road, Avery can't settle on a tight eight or nine man rotation, and we've been losing too many close games. All I'm saying is that everyone doesn't need to overreact. Avery is too intelligent and too passionate to be given up on by players and fans. I would go to war with him (assuming he could use a 6-foot, 2-inch forward with 1965 post-up moves).
Yea, let's blame it all on a coach that has a 75% winning record. Oh, and he was coach of the year a few years ago. This isnt all Avery's fault. Some cannot see that and that is a shame. We all know "who runs" this team. It starts at the top!!

I don't think Avery deserves all the blame. At some point the players have to nut up on their own. No coach could turn this current mess into a championship team.

And I'm so tired of people saying that just because I'm criticizing the coach, who rightly deserves it, I'm a fair weather fan or a bandwagoner. Neither of those are the case. I want this team to win, I want them to succeed. But over the last month they have shown absolutely nothing towards being able to do that this year. Avery is not the coach for this team, plain and simple. And we've seen how they played without Dirk two weeks ago against Houston. I wouldn't be surprised to see them go 5-7 or worse over these last twelve games. And the fact that they're only 3 games behind the Spurs is meaningless. There's zero chance of them catching the Spurs, they are, at least should be, way more concerned with even making the playoffs right now.
Ugh... So tired of the Avery hating. We're 3 games behind the Spurs, people. Dirk always comes back sooner than the doctor says. We just went to the wire with three of the best teams in the league. I'm as disappointed as the next guy that we couldn't take one of this last stretch, but damn. We're witnessing the greatest NBA regular season in the history of its game and all anybody can do is blame our failure on the coach. Get off the bandwagon if you're gonna hate, but don't you dare try to get back on when start to see some success. Or the Mavs will lose the next 12 games and we will lose our lottery pick because we traded it for a 35 year old point guard. Middle fingers up in the air.
