I just hope the city's smart enough to build a skatepark REALLY close to that place, otherwise I see some very nice gaps, ledges and stairs just begging for wax

Really impressive (and different) architecture for Dallas when compared to the last few years of new developments/buildings (not counting the Cowboy's Thunderdome) - And the whole time I was watching, I was waiting for a T-Rex or Nick Cage to flee an approaching firestorm or an equally mortal special effect...

Architecture is wonderful and overall great venue. However, I see that plan and simply think "well, Ross Ave. traffic is gonna blow in late 2009. Woodall service road will be a nightmare too."

Another place the rich in Dallas can go once a year while our neighborhoods fall apart.

I give it two years of operations before this thing is swimming in red ink....they have neglected to raise a sufficient endowment....who is going to bail it out??
