Why You Should Never Go to Your High School Reunion

• why on God's green earth, would ANYONE put themselves on that show. I'm embarrassed for them?

• Id like to add one reason: Going just so you can be disgusted that you went and realizing there reasons why you havent talked to anyone in XX years

• I would offer a different view. Highschool for me wasn't good or bad so I am not trying to recapture my youth. We had our 40th reunion (yes, I am that old) and it was a really nice time. You are totally over any of the cliques, jealousies, successes, failures, envies -- and are just people who shared a formative time in their lives. We have a Class of 65 Blog which continues where we share the good times and bad times that befall a bunch of baby boomers. Though -- I will say that the woman held up a whole lot better than the men.

• I'm skipping my reunion this weekend. The reasons people go: 1) Flaunt success in everybody's face 2) See how bad the hot girls/guys let themselves go 3) Rekindle an old flame 4) "Hey, look at me...I'm not fat anymore!" Whichever the reason, it's kinda pathetic, whether it be trying to one-up someone or grasp to the most overrated 4 years in a person's life.
