Speaking of ExxonMobil, as we were earlier this week, looks like the Irving-based petrochemical Goliath is just a li'l bit bigger today: Says here the company set the world's record by claiming a $40.6 billion profit in 2007, shattering its '05 record by a good $1.1 billion. Says the AP, "the world's largest publicly traded oil company benefited from historic crude prices at year's end."
