We're So High on Videos Right Now

A couple of videos for your eyes this a.m.: The R-rated red-banded trailer for the out-in-August Pineapple Express is online now -- and the stoner comedy-thriller gets a mention because it's directed by local-boy-done good David Gordon Green, whose other 2008 release, the more indie-fied Snow Angels, finally opens next month after debuting at the Sundance Film Festival in January '07.
Also, and in no way related to the item above, courtesy the Sunset High School lit and art blog comes this "archaic fire poi" performance from student Nathan Pryor. Thanks for the heads-up, Kent Fischer. --Robert Wilonsky
