Pantera Producer Far Beyond Furious After House Burglarized
Sterling Winfield's a producer and engineer best known for having produced albums by Pantera (the band's adios, Reinventing The Steel) and the post-Pantera projects Damageplan and Hellyeah. (Says his Nomad Studios bio, he's also "worked and toured with" everyone from Metallica to the Foo Fighters to the Fugees.)
But today, he's asking those who cruise the metal message boards for a little help -- because his Lewisville home has been burglarized: "Several items of sentimental and collectible value were taken, including an award commemorating Platinum Sales of the Pantera album Far Beyond Driven." He also says Lewisville police are investigating, but if you come across any Pantera collectibles in coming days, well, he'd probably like to hear from ya. --Robert Wilonsky
