• There's a growing, Britney-Spears-like dishonesty and willful deception on the part of college coaches regarding their professional moves. Almost exactly a year ago, Nick Saban took the Alabama job after adamantly denying just 12 days previously that he would be leaving the Dolphins. Bobby Petrino is this year's poster child for games beyond the field, abandoning the Falcons after repeated denials. It's ethically wrong (OK, I'm Pollyanna for trying to bring ethics into the semi-pro world of NCAA 1A football.)
