Categories: Sports

Because it totally makes sense to announce the schedule for the 2008 baseball season on November 13, the Texas Rangers today released next season's schedule and game times -- so, really, no pushing or shoving as you line up for season tix. For them's so interested, the first regular season game takes place March 31 in Seattle, with the Rangers playing their first game in Arlington on April 8 at 1:05 p.m. against the Baltimore Orioles.

The Rangers do note there's one major change from the 2007 season -- and, no, it's not "sucking less." Says this morning's media release, "night games between Memorial Day and Labor Day return to a 7:05 p.m. start time, while Sunday afternoon games remain at 2:05 p.m." Which means you'll be able to leave the ball park earlier. The entirety of today's announcement is after the jump. Like you care. --Robert Wilonsky
