At Least One Ticket Show's Not Going Anywhere for Five Years

Dunham and Miller -- actually, from left, Craig Miller and George Dunham

If I've learned nothing else in the past 20 months of editing Unfair Park, it's that people love reading about KTCK-AM (1310, The Ticket) and posting comments to items about The Ticket almost as much as they love actually listening to the top-ranked station. And, yes, when, moments ago, I received a missive from KTCK program director Jeff Catlin with the subject heading "KTCK The Ticket Press Release," I thought, "Finally. At last." Alas. Cat brings no news concerning the disappearance of the Huggable Hammer from The Hardline. Instead, only this:

"The Ticket announced today that they have re-signed long time morning show personalities George Dunham, Craig Miller and Gordon Keith to a new five year contract. This new deal assures that The Dunham and Miller Show will continue to be heard on The Ticket for years to come.

Other terms of the deal were not released.

Cumulus Media Partners Vice President and Market Manager Dan Bennett said “ We are pleased to have completed this new deal with Dunham, Miller and Gordo. They have an amazing ratings track record over the years with their show, and they continue to be a key part of The Ticket’s overall success.”

As for the other key parts of The Ticket's success, I guess you will have to stay tuned for all that and next. --Robert Wilonsky
