Snakes and Jakes

Reuben Armstrong and Bill Cosby, who is clearly a good friend

Reuben Armstrong is a local talk-show host -- his program's on the Web, from the looks of it -- and this week, he says he was supposed to publish a book called Snakes in the Pulpit. In it, he says, "Bishop T.D. Jakes, Joel Osteen, Eddie Long and Creflo Dollar are twisting scriptures and taking them out of context for fame and fortune and they will be exposed." But Armstrong claims the book's content got his show dumped from Streaming Faith, which describes itself as "the world's largest provider of Internet broadcast services to faith-based organizations." So Armstrong says he's going to sue, God help him. --Robert Wilonsky
