Owen Wilson Now Wants His Private Time

You can't travel far on the Interwebs without crashing into a story about Owen Wilson's allegedly self-inducted trip to the hospital yesterday. And while the latest story sent by the Associated Press says my former drivers-ed classmate's reps will soon issue a statement, TMZ.com says it has an official comment from Wilson hisself:
"I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time."Works for me. --Robert Wilonsky
Update: My old friend and former colleague Matt Zoller Seitz has an essay about Wilson posted here, and much of it deals with Matt's relationship with Owen, which was forged when Matt wrote this cover story for the paper version of Unfair Park way, way back when.
