Back in Through The Backdoor
Last Friday, I told you about how the Backdoor Comedy Club had been forced to vacate its Ross Avenue location. This week, I'm telling you that the club has found temporary digs at the Radisson Hotel behind Mockingbird Station. The usual band of awesome local comics will be performing this Saturday at 9 p.m., with doors opening at 8:30. Free parking, fo' rizzle.
Last Friday's post also produced a fiery comments section, wherein I was accused of over-pimping Paul Varghese and over-hyping the Backdoor, which is a clean comedy club. Lest I let such an abomination occur again, let me take this opportunity to pimp professional creepy dude Jeremy Procter-Smith, an up-and-coming local who is making his weekend guest spot debut at the no-holds-barred Arlington Hyena's late show on Saturday night at 11 p.m. Here's a clip, and it is pretty freaking NSFW. --Andrea Grimes
