And Don Hill Endorses...?

• 411- don't be so naive. Just because they may have said that no money exchanged hands does NOT mean that there won't be. I am sure Mr. Hill has a price.

• and did you really think Hill was going to admit that he got money and promises? Then you probably believe he's "earned the right to drive that car".

• Don Hill came in 3rd in the general election. Ed Oakley said Don Hill was going to endorse him. Hill's endorsement of Leppert, instead, is HUGE. It shows hardly anyone on the current council, except maybe Blaydes, supports Oakley. That will hurt Oakley in the north and Lake Highlands. It will certainly hurt Oakley in South Dallas and Oak Cliff. Knockout blow? Probably not. But serious blow? You bet. Everyone I know following Dallas politics, Republican and Democrat (except AKA1908) are pretty floored by this. If yer' own running buddy won't cover your back when it matters most...

• I totally disagree with the aka1908 comment. Don has 3 of the biggest voting precincts within a 1 mile radius of his house. Considering Oakley thought he had the south on lock, this is huge.

• It's a little late now for the endorsement. The price probably came down to something reasonable that Leppert would spend. Hill went to both Leppert and Oakley with a price. It's a tarnished endorsement.
