Where You Will Find Schutze Tonight

Why, at the East Dallas Christian Church (629 N. Peak St.), naturally; dude's big on prayer. Aw, c'mon, it's just business: Tonight at 7, the Dallas Homeowners League is hosting a debate concerning the $1.2 Trinity toll road, pitting TrinityVote's Angela Hunt against Trinity Commons Foundation's Craig Holcomb, with Martin Hoffman serving as moderator. Then, tomorrow night, there's another one of these face-offs at the same time at the Vickery Towers, at the crossroads of Belmont Ave. and Greenville Ave. Same peeps, save for the moderator; Tom Blackwood, yer one lucky devil.

Oh, and we also noticed that over at TrinityVote, State Rep. Terri Hodge has come out in favor of folks signing the TrinityVote petition and being able to re-vote on the toll road. Because, says Hodge, "This project has changed from what voters originally approved. It should be up to Dallas residents to decide whether a high-speed toll road is built in their park...I encourage all Dallas voters to sign the petition. This decision is too important to be left in the hands of a select few.” S'up, select few? --Robert Wilonsky
