And the (Early) Winner Is...
Matt Pulle's Our Man Downtown tonight with the results from early voting, which are as follows:
Your early clubhouse leader is Tom Leppert, with 29 percent of the early vote (7,403 votes). Ed Oakley comes in at second, with 19 percent (4,957). Don Hill comes in third with 14 percent (3,583). Max Wells places fourth, with 12.95 percent (3,301). Coming in fifth is Gary Griffith, with 8.41 percent. At sixth, Darrell Jordan has 6.34 percent of the voting, while Sam Coats placed seventh with a lousy 5.81 percent of the votes cast in early voting.
There were a total of 25,487 votes cast in early voting.
Meanwhile, in Farmers Branch, Ordinance 2903 is passing by an extraordinarily wide margin, with 76.31 percent of the early vote. The county will begin releasing results from the 577 precincts at 8:30 p.m., or perhaps 15 minutes earlier. More info can be found here, including early results from the city council elections.
