Wilson or Won't He?

Some of us worked Friday. And some of us--by which I mean Owen Wilson and his mother--were at Harry Winston's in Highland Park Village. Shopping for what? Well, his people--and, really, even when Owen and I took driver's ed together at St. Mark's, even then I knew he would have people--say they were just buying something nice for his moms, Laura Wilson. But, natch, the New York Post insists he was picking up an engagement ring for, ya know, his You, Me and Dupree co-star Kate Hudson. "They were looking at a huge, pear-shaped, flawless diamond engagement ring," said the paper's so-called "witness." Is this the same one who said it's called the "Highland Park Mall"? I thought Owen Wilson was dating Tony Romo, anyway. No? --Robert Wilonsky
