A Sign of Success

Categories: News
This billboard, on IH-35 and Inwood Road, has spawned many like it across the country.
Two months to the day after Grassfire.org planted its first 48-foot-wide go-home-illegals billboard on Stemmons Freeway near Inwood Road, the Iowa-based "conservative, pro-family and pro-faith" organization's the subject of a piece in today's Los Angeles Times. Turns out you can buy one of these billboard all by your lonesome for some $25 a square foot, which people are doing based on the success of the Dallas billboard (it's not mentioned precisely how one registers "positive response to [a] sign," but I have no doubt plenty of people stopped their cars on I-35, got out and started bowing to the sign that reads, "STOP the INVASION, Secure Our Borders." Signs have started popping up in Los Angeles, California, Phoenix, Arizona, Atlanta, Georgia and Miami--again, all thanks to how well they did here. Be proud, Dallas. --Robert Wilonsky
