TV Ratings: Rangers + Mavericks + Stars < Cowboys

As one poster suggested, you are comparing apples and oranges (those are two different fruits, btw) - the Rangers play 81 home games a year versus 8 for the Cowboys. What is the Cowboys rating tonight?  What was it last night?  By your yardstick (that is a tool to measure things, btw), you should be reporting heavily on the Rangers today, as they had an infinitely higher rating than the Cowboys. How many fans will the Cowboys draw this year - say 650K? That is less than 25% of what the Rangers will draw. Do more people in DFW care about the Cowboys?  Sure - but your method of comparison (and your justification for your Cowboy bias) is skewed.  Try to be a little more intellectually honest and admit you write about the Cowboys because they help keep you employed. btw3, its "bon appetit" not "bon apetit" - rule number one, don't screw up the punch line.

Radio ratings reflect that the station with the most balanced coverage of all the teams draws what the other two stations do combined. Look at comment counts on posts and you'll see Mavs and Rangers typically get the most, even when you subtract out the defender bits. Passive-aggressive douchewad.
