• I see people on here bashing Greggo, I gotta tell ya, he's about the only reason I listen to RaGe. Richie's constant third-grade babbling is too hard to fight thru. The endless playing of stupid, unfunny drops, that make no sense to subject be discussed, drives me nuts! I try my damndest to stay with it, but just can't do it. That mega-dumdass Armen, that is the most CLUELESS son-of-bitch to ever strap on a mic!! • Amazingly, somebody got flagged up in here. We can't tell RJ Choppy to smoke a pole? Well flag me too then. What an effing tool. No use for him whatsoever.  Calling out the fans for not showing up on a school night while you were at a Cowboy's practice is pretty damn cheap. If you are out there sweating your ass off and getting the kids to school up in McKinney at 730A then you can tell us we are slackers, until then STFU about low attendance on school nights.  Las Vegas loves the Cowboys, no news there.  Cam Newton will likely flame out about like VY has. Maybe he has a little more maturity. WTF, oh hell no he doesn't, what was I thinking? He is the same brand of egotist that can't respond to coaching and has no inkling that he will get creamed eventually if he can't stay in the pocket. I put the over and under of his benching and/or meltdown at 3 seasons. McNabb figured out how to survive in this league until he had no more game left, Vick appears to be doing so as well, but they don't do it by running all over the place on every down. Every time I happen to stop by there it is some stupid show. And awards shows are the suck. Any award show. CMT music awards, Emmys, Grammys, Oscars; sleep-inducing snorefests that are only watched by men that cannot pry away the controller from the frau. Well, there are some gay guys out there that like that shit.  All that talk last week about somebody being "done" or "toast" or whatever other bragging terms were involved just stirred up the ire of the baseball gods and lo and behold nemesis follows hubris. When we have it actually in the bag then you can holler all you want. That is of course if you have no interest in winning a series in the playoffs, much less going all the way again. Again, STFU with the bragging. Optimism meter pointing down.  Does this pre-season game count? No? Got better things to do then. Wake me when it is for real.  Oh yeah, there are plenty of heroes that got the Medal of Honor posthumously, look it up. 

• When BaD radio goes off on one of their navel gazing TV discussions it is time for me to punch out. Worst part of their shows. A segment of nothing but drops would be far more interesting.

• Richie declared the division won just 5 days ago on Monday.  Now he acts like he never said a thing and is sounding the alarm.  On his radio show today, Richie said the 7 game lead last week was like "fool's gold" to him and that he was never comfortable with the division lead.  This is a complete contradiction to what Richie wrote all last week and even 5 days ago on this very blog. To echo many sentiments about Rage, Richie and Greggo will get in phony radio arguments for the sake of friction even if one doesn't really believe the stance they are taking.  Greggo has said many times he believes the division is well in hand, so Richie is taking the opposite side even though his very own blog here contradicts himself.  We are used to sub par, intellectually dishonest and lamely provocative content on this blog everyday but Richie seems to have reached another new low with this topic.  Pathetic.

If I'm watching TV, I'm letting one of the better things in my life decay. The only time I watch TV is at the gym, on a treadmill. Catch a lot of 30-minute comedies. I dig The League and Archer. I like a lot of British stuff. Been enjoying Party Down. I really need to open a book once in a while. Again, if I have time to watch TV, I can certainly read instead.

Sure we traded for Clee last year, but couldn't/didn't resign him.  Turned Ceej into a top of Rotation starter for two years, and we will not resign him.  Methinks that's how it's gonna be around here, we can't buy the best FA starter every year like the Sux or the Yanks..and honestly that's usually not a bad thing. I see Ceej leaving after this year, and Hamilton, Napoli and Colby are almost sure to leave after next..I don't think anyone in the organization is gonna jump up and give Josh 160 million for 8 years..and again that's probably for the best, although I will be berry, berry sad to see him sign with the Evil Empire and turn into effing Babe Mantle Dimaggio. This thing is in an ever changing state of flux, and I'm ok with it...JD understands what it takes to win in todays game. I read a great article on Grantland I think (damn sure wasn't here) about what it takes to win the regular season: Strikeouts from your pitching staff (Colby has regressed this year, so that's hurting us), excellent D-fence (It's been a little shaky this year, but still way above the league average) and a Stud Closer (Neffy was shaky early, but has come around). Look at our farm system and you'll see tons of pitching and up the middle defensive players..You add these guys and you bring in a big bat every once in while (Beltre and Nap this year) to put it over the top.  Nothing is more valuable in the great game than pitchers whom you control for five years at minimal salaries.

• I'm with them on most of their TV talk--I was always down for 24 or Lost talk, and I'm with them on Breaking Bad and Mad Men. I rented The Wire's pilot online, and gotta say, it was the longest, most boring hour I can recall in a long time. Boardwalk Empire was almost as boring, but there was enough there for me to stick with it, but The Wire was so convoluted I didn't give a rat's ass about spending money to see more of it. Mad Men just hit Netflix streaming here the past couple months and is well worth the time to catch up. Their next season doesn't hit until 2012.

• I didn't even know I had AMC until a friend of mine let me know about Mob Week. And, Mob Week>Shark Week for me so far. I'm with you, can't commit to Breaking Bad, too far behind, same thing with Mad Men. Been catching up on reading, which has thrown the wife off. If I'm going to commit to anything now, give me reality. First 48 is good, and I'll flip channels to catch part of an episode of Ice Road Truckers or Swamp Men or whatever other reality crew is watching the day to day exploits of white trash.  For shits and lots of giggles, Wipeout makes me laugh so hard I cry. Best watched with another male, my wife just doesn't get it.

• I watched Lost every week to find out what was going to happen to good ole "Freckles".

• I can understand the film thing, are you a fan of sequels at least? Enjoy any character development?

• Haven't seen any Breaking Bad either..out of touch..I watched Napoleon Dynamite after about two years of BAD and the Musers beating me down about it..Three thumbs up on that one.

• I haven't seen it. I watch little TV, and when I do, it's not to be sucked into a giant, sprawling story about people and places for which I could give two shits. I'm sure it's awesome, but I lack the desire and/or focus to see it through. If I have that much time to invest, I'd rather invest it in films. But the truth is, if I have that much time to invest in a television program, I'm doing something wrong.

• The only thing going for this blog is the regular readers who come here to talk amongst themselves and to (justifiably) bash Whitt. I'm pretty sure the Editor(s) know that. If they start censoring comments left and right, everyone will go elsewhere, and the only thing that makes this blog useful will be gone. Personally, I'd like to see that happen, just so Richie gets dumped.

• I feel like i'm the only guys in the Mehtroplex that hasn't seen it. Worth it? Their ass whipping me of it hasn't gotten me interested. Don't get me wrong, I'm more likely to watch something they suggest than I am to listen to some band that Danny or Corby suggest.
