Now, Roger Clemens. The judge in his perjury trial this morning declared a mistrial after prosecuting attorneys showed jurors evidence against his wishes.
Isn't anyone guilty of anything anymore?
Frankly, I don't give a rat's ass whether he lied about using steroids or not. His career is done. I don't want a single nickel of my tax dollars spent trying to figure out whether baseball players in the 80s and 90s used steroids. Who gives a damn? Same comment re cyclists -- why do we care if guys competing in a sport we don't follow in a foreign country used performance enhancing drugs, and why should our government use any of our money investigating this question?

We don't begrudge Borquie for getting his cup.......the city actually threw him a parade for that one. Even the greatness of Bobby Orr left for Chicago when I was a kid. People leave; that's no big deal. It's the scorched earth crap that pisses people off. Clee left last year-I wish the guy no harm. The prosecution showed inadmissible evidence to the jury. On day 2 of the trial! After getting benchslapped in their opening arguments yesterday! Blame the judge all you want, just like all the lunatics shatted on the Anthony jury members, but both failings fall right at the feet of piss poor prosecutors. I hope they don't look to re-try Clemens and waste more time and money
