The first -- and probably the last -- time we'll see the NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks all together.

Rick Carlisle just called Dirk Nowitzki "the best basketball player on the planet." Screw it, let's go with it.

And, for the record, Carlisle did smile. And DeShawn Stevenson did show up, smoking a victory seeegar.

Jason Kidd: "We already got this championship. Now we gotta go get that next one."

Dirk: Great player; notsa great singer.

For the last six weeks he damn sure has been the best basketball player in the world. So yes, let's go with it. He personally destroyed six of the ten All NBA first and second teamers. Only missed out on Rose, Howard, and Stoudemire.

Vancouver lost game 7 in the Stanley Cup Finals last night. They rioted.

The caption under one of CNN's photos attributed the rioting to "frustrated fans". I doubt that was it. I have a feeling they would have also rioted if they had won.
