Can't believe the 22-year-old I covered as a rookie in 1995 is now a 38-year-old man with 107 career triple-doubles.

Seems like only yesterday we were watching his first - in a 130-11 win over the Lakers at Reunion Arena.

Musers camp out is pure genius. That combined with the ratings news is just more evidence that they can't do what The Ticket does.
Yes, I imagine the spin will go like this: What the what, ya'll? My radio gig is thriving. RAGE, the show that I star on, has increased in viewership exponentially. We are now 17th in the demographic of backward hat wearing Limp Bizkit fan douchers. Howdy ya'll like that? Toldja my radio show, the one I star on, is getting better!

i'm just some guy who's entire life revolves around the Ticket and the thought that Whitt even exists in the same galaxy just drives me nuts.
He just does his posts as quickly and lazily as possible because he has show prep to do for Rage. Oh wait, doesn't he just read his 3 stories from here practically word for word? That actually makes this worse. Why hasn't Sam been given his job yet?

that's not a shock, I've stopped switching to 105.3 in the morning after cume was explained in one of the great posts on this blog. I still check out the rest of the lineup, cannot support what the Fan puts out on the morning shift.
I guess this just goes to show you that he doesn't read our comments. If he did, that would be fixed by now.

Your point being? I also read through Unfair Park and avoid the DMN site like Richie avoids maturity. It's not a good sign when even the blog regulars think the radio show sucks, and alot of us have a great deal of respect for a clean Greggo.

Apparantely falling in the ratings is the Fail's goal. The last time Richie mentioned ratings he said the program director(sorry don't know his name) told them that the ratings were headed in the right direction. I think he signed another contract as well. Maybe they should add a couple of more hours to Rage so they can extend this ratings success.
what is the website you go to in order to get this info and the show breakdowns? arbitron just shows the Fail dropped overall from 1.8 to 1.5. no matter how u slice it that station is in major trouble. rdy to start the switch flip b4 Master's pool?
Factor in satellite and online, and RAGE would fall behind the Ticket stream, TC's podcast, Killer's podcast, and Sirius/XM's DFW traffic channel. In other nutkicking news, in less than 24 hours from joining Twitter, Dan McDowell, consensus pick for least valuable host on The Ticket, blew past one Richie Whitt's follower count.
The Tardline finishes dead last again in the ratings. but that ok, richie just bragged to us about how he USED to cover the mavs. all the while massively screwing up the final score. proving he was a hack back then.
That's just not true. The ratings are whatever Richie wants them to be.
Yep and he also has all the material he will need for Rage. He can nap until 2pm until it is time for race wars on Rage.
Feb Radio Ratings are out. Afternoon Drive: Hardline 1st, Galloway 11th, RAGE 18th. How will Richie spin it this time?
