Mavs Rally Past Raptors. Again.

Yesterday I flipped on the Mavericks and they trailed the lowly Toronto Raptors -- playing without leading scorer Andrea Bargnani -- and they trailed 22-3.

22-3!

I couldn't believe it. I was worried. I was...soothed when I realized it was the Raptors.

By the third quarter the Mavs led en route to another easy victory. From down 22-3, the Mavs won 114-96.

Shouldn't come as any surprise. As in the video, the Mavs always rally to beat the Raptors.

In fact, that's the fourth time in 10 years that Dallas has a victory over Toronto in which it trailed by 17 points or more.

Weird.

And, yes, wonderful.

The Mavs have now won 16 of 17 entering tomorrow night's game in Philly. Win that one and there's no reason to believe they can't push the pace to 20 of 21.

Nice blast from the past. It was nice seeing Devin Harris, Dsagana Diop, Dampier, Josh Howard, Brandon Bass, and Trenton Hassell. Hard to believe it was only 3 years ago all those guys were on this roster. Here's another great video from 2007http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...

They didn't rally to beat the Raptors in December, losing 84-76 (ugh) at the AAC. Just saying.

The Mavs were dominant from that point when they were down 19, the rest of the way. I can't wait to see them in the playoffs. Kidd could have spinal bifida and they still won't look as bad as they looked last year.
