Great News: Josh Hamilton Out of Hospital

After a weird, scary ordeal that started with him being admitted to the hospital with early pneumonia and then kept longer than anticipated despite "significant improvement," Texas Rangers' outfielder and American League MVP Josh Hamilton was released from the hospital Sunday afternoon.

The thing was handled strangely by the Rangers from the outset to the end - yesterday one press release named the wrong hospital at which he stayed - but looks like all's well that ends well.

I am told that on Wednesday night, Hamilton's fever hit 104 at Medical Center of Arlington, but that he should be able to resume full-speed baseball activities next week and be ready for spring training in about a month.

Whew.

Lady in English band Broadcast, probably around 40, passed away today from pneumonia.
I ain't able to reply to yer last posting, truck full of Mexicans, so I'll do my speakin' here. Of course, Antonio de Padua María Severino López de Santa Anna y Pérez de Lebrón (aka: Santa Anna) and you Mexican boys slayed some 200 of us on March 6, 1836. Yet, have you not read Susanna Dickinson (widow of Alamo defender Almeron Dickinson)? She tells that when she was removed from the chapel, she saw my dead, lifeless body surrounded by no less than 15 dead Mexican soldiers. One even had my knife squarely in his back! You see, son, I go down fightin'. Probably the meanest son of bitch to ever rassle bears and aligators!
My mom (god bless her) came down with pneumonia in Nov and was hospitalized...for THREE days. And she's not a world class athlete in their late 20's. She's in her late 70's. Something about this seems odd and I have no idea what it is. The pieces of the puzzle aren't going together quite so smoothly.

Why wouldn't he go to the dern hospital? Haven't you a clue as to what happened to people with pneumonia back in my day? They died, little boy Richie. They died. Not by a merciless Mexican dictator and his Army. But by being sick! Jim Bowie ring a bell?!?!? Though he probably had consumption.
Directly credited to their "we'll suck less" promos. Which lie. Not to mention they name-drop the other two stations very frequently. And remember, more people listen to TC's podcast than to RAGE.

Did you find his coke spoon yet RW? No dirty drug tests either? No dents in his head from a nine iron? Still a non-story other than the fact that he got sick.
I'm glad he got over his "pneumonia." I know he's had a case of the sniffles before that were pretty serious. I'm pretty sure I had pneumonia on new years day.
Please say story number three is going to be about Rob Ryan. Wade Phillips and Ryan both run 3-4 defenses, but Phillips ran a 1 gap that too frequently included the 46, undisguised blitzes and man coverage with little reliance on zones. The defense was good at racking up sacks but not so great at generating turnovers. The Ryan defense has a lean 2 gap and generates a lot of turnovers. The Browns didn’t have a great defense last year, basically about the same as Dallas, but it was a big improvement compared to its previous performances. Any predictions or insights for next year’s defense? A new role for Jay Ratliff? A better season for Mike Jenkins? Fewer sacks for DeMarcus Ware? Going with ten men on defense instead of playing Alan Ball? Kidding, Ball clearly won’t be starting again.
The only thing weird about it was the writer/radio guy trying to make a huge story out of a guy having the sniffles? I mean, I realize you have 5 hours of content, but this was a silly way to try and fill it.
Huh, imagine that..nothing to see here..yet RW beat this dead horse for a freaking week..you should write for a soap opera RW, with your drawn out story arcs and lack of effort..well atleast you have your award winning broadcasting career to fall back on. We need more Merton and Kergo and Davey, less lukewarm sporty non stories from RW...stay hard RW, for your boyfriend.
