• I agree with you guys on the show. Greggo was hilarious, and Gavin is very good. I hope the Fan doesn't leave a lot of their talent doing one-man shows for too long. I enjoy the back-and-forth rather than the monologues, and of course, the calls those guys have to take are just ass-whippings. Poor Josh. I listen at lunch, and I don't think he has learned yet that you just have to pull the plug on some callers.

• Agree that Robot Greggo was radio gold. Probably the best RAGE show to date. i think Gavin is great too...i think the only reason he ever got any bad criticisim was b/c he was paired with that d.b. gregg.

I don't know that Cowher is the answer, though he probably would not want the job here anyway without major concessions from Jerry. Cowher won - what? - 1 Super Bowl in around 15 years in Pittsburgh? I am not a Gruden fan either. No success at all after his 1st year at TB. Since this is the Fantasy Land of the internet, I can want either of two coaches who probably stand no chance at coaching again. My top 2 choices if I'm spending Jerry's money? 1st choice is a no brainer. Do whatever it takes - WHATEVER IT TAKES - to somehow convince Jimmy Johnson to give it one more 3 or 4 year ride. I'd bet BIG money Jimmy would win a Super Bowl here within his first TWO years back. Master Motivator. He is EXACTLY what this team needs. I know, I know - the odds of this happening are close to nil - but one can dream, can't they? 2nd choice? I like Dan Reeves - though his credentials are subjectively not as good as Cowher's. I think the connection to the old Cowboys and Tom Landry would be an interesting aspect if Reeves were here. What a great story if Reeves could finally win a Super Bowl as a head coach with the Cowboys. Back in the real world - where Jerry the Owner is also still Jerry the GM - there is probably no reason at all to get our hopes up. Jones' ego remains the biggest obstacle to the Cowboys returning to former glory. If the team continues to suck, Jerry and HIS 'Stajum' could both be colossal failures.

• I love how the Ticket blatantly rips-off the drop "OH MY !" uttered by George Takei on Howard Stern's show and P1s say nothing.

• Nothing good will happen until Garrett benches someone of significance for head-up-ass-syndrome or cuts someone above the Sam Hurd uselessness level. Until that point it's just a bunch of divas collecting their paychecks and not giving two squirts about their effort levels, with few rare exceptions (Dez and....who?) Seinfeld=overrated. Yes, I said it. Frasier holds up far better than Seinfeld. Cajun Man was way down the list of Sandler greatness. Lunchlady Land on his first album was far superior. Sloppy joe, slop, sloppy joe... Unless Jerry does a complete ego-180, why would Cowher bother? He could have a cushy Carolina job in a few months and be close to home and not deal with an owner who thinks he's a GM genius. Jason, if you get Marty and Roy to shut up and play I'll take back everything bad I've ever said about you...

• @hypocrwhitt. Noticed the exact same thing. This is getting ridiculous Richie. Going to their website and basically plagiarizing their photo's now. Is their any low you won't stoop to? It's so obvious how bad you want to be them and how envious (or jealous) you are of them. It's almost like you are stalking them. You probably go through their trash to find out what they eat, what brand of toothpaste they use, etc. etc. And the funny thing is, you will continue to deny any and all of the copycatting you do---hilarious!

• Agree with Gary and S. Merkin. Jason Garrett? So what. He sounds good and authoritative in a press conference? Big freakin deal. Body language on the sidelines, getting mad/never getting mad, tutored under Aikman, Turner, none of this matters if the players dont listen to him. He can be an Ivy League genius, the worlds most interesting Opie look-alike, the fact is this team is piss-poor and will not be making the playoffs this year and we knew that before Halloween. All we can do as sports fans here is be happy the Rangers aren't the laughing stock of baseball and hope that the Mavericks don't get bounced in the first round. As far as caring about the Cowboys, we have to wait until next September now. Here's to flipping over to the Cowboy game on Sundays to see how bad they are getting blown out and hoping that there are thousands of empty seats so that Jerry can maybe somehow "get it", and swallow what little pride he has left (I know that'll never happen but it felt good typing it).

• Laid back, obscenity-laced, neither matters if the coach won't or can't hold players accountable by reducing or withholding playing time. Without that their manner makes no difference.

• I wasn't too excited about JG until I caught parts of the press conference. I have to admit, I don't think I've ever heard the guys voice before yesterday. I'm curious, he won't mail it in and neither will the assistants. If anything, this lit a fire under their ass to pull players out when they puss out(i.e. Mike Jenkins) . This thing is broken, we all know that. Keeping Wade another week wouldn't show anyone Jerry's sense of urgency. It says something that no Cowboys coach has ever been fired during the season. Jerry is sending a message.

• definitely a much more commanding presence than wade and he seems to have "it", where wade did not. i'm almost excited to see if things are going to be better under red-headd jesus.

• As much as I loath all the people who claim the Cowboys as the greatest thing in football and loath the entitled Cowboy fan, Dont the Cowboys players deserve better than Garrett. You're the Dallas Friggen Cowboys, you should have the best Head Coach in the league, not some first timer getting a look at HC for 8 weeks who might get to keep that job next year. This franchise really is the laughing stock of the NFL. Jerry should get a blank check out and hand it to the best active or retired head coach he can find, tell em to cash it and walk back to his office and let that man do his work. This isnt Seattle or Tampa Bay where your franchise has been futile for decades and you can get away with HOPING the coach works out
