Dear Ines Sainz, Joe Avezzano Would Like to See You in the Locker Room. Tonight.

Hey you. Over there. Yeah, you. The chick with the hair and the lips and the things and the big, bodacious, bountiful booty.

What if you could get into an NFL locker room with your brains instead of your beauty? Interested?

If so, no better place to start than Football 101 and no better tutor than former Dallas Cowboys' assistant coach Joe Avezzano. Ladies Locker Room - which kicks off tonight at Studio Movie Grill in Dallas (75 and Royal) - is for Ines Sainz and every woman who is curious about football but too intimidated to ask.

Here's the deal: In general, us guys don't like our chicks knowing about sports. Sorry, but that's the truth. Likewise, we promise not to butt in when y'all are on the edge of your couch watching one of those 12 faux-reality shows set in, of all places, New Joisey.

Our knowledge of Kate Gosselin is only that she looks damn good in a bikini these days. Your football acumen can be Cowboys = Good; EveryoneElseOnTheFaceOfThePlanet = Bad.

But if you wanna impress us, Coach Joe can give you the shortcut.

I attended one of these last year and - pssst! - there are tons of women out there who actually have an appreciation of the sport far deeper than The View's Joy Behar, who once said on a Super Bowl pre-pre-pre-game show:

"I'm rooting for the Patriots, because in those tight pants Tom Brady's butt looks soooooo cute."

Ladies Locker Rooms will be open October 27, November 24, December 22 and January 26. 7 p.m. $10. Simple.

Now, at the very minimum, you have no excuse to no longer give out a score as "Seven Fourteen."

Thanks to Coach Joe you'll know it's "Fourteen Seven". And so on ...

@scruffy, good assessment. Greggo self destructs and HL scrambles to find replacement, doesn't find one, realizes ratings don't suffer, doesn't want to mess with status quo, and kubla is then permanent on air primary instead of off doing his specialty, yuck monkey duties. So now you get your formula mail in until ratings decline happens (if it ever does). Methinks formula mail in is better than shoehorning a misfit third wheel into the presentation, but heck, there are other alternatives to improve the show.
@ Rooster - I dont kiss @$$, I just tell it like it is. As a younger guy who respects old people, I actually enjoy the conversations about earlier music. I dont think its mailing it in at all, You just dont like it, so you hate on it.
A Neil Young segment (again) smacks of self-serving, mail-it-in attitude. You can hear the lack of effort in all their voices. Community Quick Hits=DallasNews.com+plenty of derailments E-News=a TMZ.com story with derailments Pool Party=another round of What's on (insert name here) Mind Add those, a music segment or two, an audio segment, and the fact they don't get rolling on anything until 4 and you're lucky to get 2 hours of something worthwhile. Hardline sucks bad, the sad part is Galloway can be mega-irritating and The Fail could play Avery Air Conditioning commercials on loop and be better than their tools on afternoon drive and I'd still give HL a whirl first. Can the Musers just get replayed so I catch the parts of their show I miss?
@P1 Jeremy - I'm not a hater. I'm a P1. . Unlike you, I just happen to be a P1 that doesn't have my lips firmly glued to their ass. . Being a P1 does not mean you can't roll your eyes whenever the Hardline mails in yet another segment.

@ Rooster, I may be a cult follower (even though I was there before it was a cult), but you are just a hater. It was a segment out of 4 hours of radio. @ Thomas, Galloway is my choice for commercials. I swear those accents are forced. There is no way all of them can sound that hickish. Everyone still listens to the Hardline. They just happen to hate what they're listening to. SEE ROOSTER
My old lady who don't know nothing about football says that I better take that Texans -2.5 because its like taking candy from a baby and I says, huh? and she says its a bet against Jerrah and Wade in a jacked up stadium down in bubbaville in a game that decides the Texas team that goes to the Texas Superbowl and besides Buehler vs Rackers is at least worth three and Schaub was worth three against Romo before LT Duane Brown forgot how to pee in a cup. So i asked her how she knows so much and she tells me its because that 'Friday Night Lights' is on daily on the family channel and she's been onto those boys with thoughts totally devoid of family values.

On a completely unrelated note, the Hardline had yet another segment yesterday on none other than....wait for it....Neil Young. I believe that would be Neil Young segment number 236. . [sarcasm]Absolutely riveting radio.[/sarcasm] . I sure hope they do another one today on Tom Petty or Bob Dylan. You really just can't have enough "washed up 60's rockstar talk" on your radio.
