• Agree with Scott: There is NO WAY the city of Arlington and the Rangers would have a parade in Dallas. The Cowboys? Maybe. But not the Rangers. This was a team that no city wanted for years. Vandergriff and Co. lured them here and got the old Arlington Stadium up and running. What the city gave them in return was a great location (at the time) massive parking lots and a huge stadium to fill up. The Texas Rangers and Arlington have had a tenuous partnership at times, but their share of successes as well. If they ever make it to the mountaintop, the city of Arlington should be right there with them.
