Lakers > Celtics. Kobe = Jordan?

I know the simpleton argument is that Jordan was so good his Chicago Bulls were never pushed to the brink. Nonetheless, Kobe's feat in this series - Most Valuable Player, rallying his team from a 3-2 deficit - further closes the gap between him and the greatest player to ever put on sneakers.
I'm assuming Bryant is the leading scorer and the Lakers win - why stop now, I'm on a roll - and he captures his fifth championship ring.
Not if, but when this happens ...
Is Kobe on a level equal to or greater than Jordan?
